Ever hear of QR codes? If not, you will. QR stand for Quick Response. QR codes are similar to the barcodes you see on items in stores which show item prices when scanned. These digital patterns once scanned by a Smartphone, connect the user to a mobile web page with information about a product or business.
I have recently put these odd looking blocks on all of my sale signs, which will enable folks looking for detailed information to get it right away. It also affords interested parties to email or call me instantly for information concering the listing.
Websites like the G. Anderson site, include QR codes on all of the “featured listing” pages, and the virtual tour product that we use includes QR codes, so that you can find detailed information sheets on all of the hot national real estate sites.
Want to try? It’s easy, but it requires a smart phone with a camera. Go to your app store and check out all of the free bar code and QR code scanning apps and choose one with good review and a good rating. It is really easy to do, and the next time you pass one of my sale signs, give it a whirl.
QR codes are truly the wave of the future and you will find them in many business and outlets.
